This I Believe

Bungee Jumping
I want to one be one day an eighty something  cute, old lady who will be able to look back on her life and be satisfy with the all the things she has accomplished and the people she has touched.  I want to in the future save up enough money to go all over the world and live spontaneously and meet new people and see life in a totally different way. I believe everyone should aspire to live this way.

Road Trip!
This way of living stems from my parents inability from pursuing their dreams because of obstacles. I still want to do normal and predictable things like go to college (hopefully Yale!) or get my own house (mansion with pool). I  want to live a life where I’m able to experience many of the different things I've read in books and seen in movies. I don’t want to simply live but to livvveee. Do you know what I mean?
My older sister modeling a dress my mother made.
My mother became a seamstress at an early age. She became well known in her city for her talent which in turn made her love her job. She aspired to be a fashion designer but her dreams were interrupted when she had my older sister at 18. Over the years her dream seems less reachable. People shouldn't let life come in the way from what they always wanted to do because life is too short to live the same way for years.

My Parents

Bad things have to happen for good things to come. It makes you appreciate moments in life more. My parents work hard every day to make sure my sisters and I live a comfortable life. Before I came to the United States they lived in New York City where they both had 2-3 jobs. When I finally came, my younger sister was born and we all lived in together in Utica. They weren't able to speak English and both of them didn't finish high school which meant finding a good paying job was really hard. Giving up is not part of their nature even when things get really hard.  When my sister got accepted into several good colleges her senior year of high school they knew their dark times was worth it.
Everything you do has a risk. People shouldn't focus on the negatives in their life too much because it will in due course even out. Don’t worry, be happy.
Smile!
Over the years I've noticed that the things I worried about when I was seven or ten are irrelevant because they eventually worked out. When you worry too much you cause stress and limitations to yourself. To spontaneously live means not letting opinions and circumstances stop you from living a colorful life. This I believe.
